A new study suggests that strength training exercises and aerobics help to reduce bone loss along with the threat of fractures in breast cancer patients. Actually, bone loss is a severe problem for breast cancer patients and to them treatments like aromatase inhibitors stop the production of estrogen which is a harmone that increases the growth and development of breast cancer. In fact, the hormone estrogen is required for the formation of bone.

And it is also said by researchers that chemotherapy may cause menopause ensuing low levels of estrogen and bone loss.
The study performed for 12 months contained breast cancer patients who finished their treatment for the disease recently. And among them, half of the patients took part in resistance and aerobic exercises program at a fitness centre for nearly three times in a week.

According to M.Tish Knobf, a study author and professor at the Yale School of Medicine said in a news release of an institute that, “ Women who are completing cancer therapy should be getting a strong prescription for health promotion, which includes aerobic-resistance exercise.” It is mentioned that vitamin D and calcium are very main components to minimize bone loss.
