Hidden gothic nightspot Nocturne hosted the second anniversary of the Tokyo Cybermonster party on December 12.

Guests were treated to a show by electro rock duo the Vicious Guns, and fashion segments by the ultra hip underground IMAGO-zine as well as Mystic Caravan.

Themed ‘decadence’, the party was thrown by Michelle Bylow and Zeus Issariotis of Visune. The duo got the idea for the party when they toured Japan playing in a band.

Tokyo Cybermonster is a party based on live electronic music and ‘deacdence’ is another party that is more fashion and performance art based,” Bylow said. “We got the rights to use the name and took all of our favorite aspects from those parties and emphasized them.”

Bylow and Issariotis have been throwing parties together on and off for two years but try to keep the Tokyo Cybermonster event fresh. “We do them as we see fit,” said Bylow “We move them around from venue to venue. The original decadence party has happened all over the world.”
