Cocktails and dance music weren’t the only things being served at a Toronto nightclub, according to police.
After a six-month investigation, Toronto Police raided the Hotel Boutique Lounge in the city’s Entertainment District and charged three of its owners with cocaine trafficking.
The raid happened on Sunday at 1 a.m. at the club located at 77 Peter St. Police allege club owners were distributing cocaine to customers.
Toronto police officers were joined in the raid by members of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission and the O.P.P.
The club’s liquor license was also suspended due to public safety concerns, say police.
Krystyan Catala, 31, of Richmond Hill, Orlando Catala, 25, and Stephen Catala, 29, both of Woodbridge, have each been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

Actually, the clubs liscence was not suspended until Thursday July 18 at 5 pm due to previous liquor licence violations. It was not revoked as nothing was seized. The cops seized no money, drugs or weapons and basically spent about $80 k of tax payers money to do this raid. The drugs they found on the floor they pined to the owners. They did not have anything on them at the time the police arrested them. The ETF’s and cops treated the innocent patrons like animals even when everyone was cooperating. Several staff and patrons had to seek medical attention after the intentional beatings from the officers. The club owners have never had a criminal record before and this is just another way Adam Vaughan would like to close down a club.
