About 1,000 people showed up Friday at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in downtown Toronto to protest the visit of George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
The former presidents were speaking at a motivational seminar and were reportedly paid in the six figures.
Protesters began showing up at 3 p.m. The crowd called George Bush a war criminal and demanded that Canadian authorities arrest him.
A giant poster of Bush was set up so protesters could throw shoes at it.
The protest was peaceful and without incident.
